I am the owner and president of Strategic Partners, Inc., owner and president of Heartland Financial Group of Kansas, Inc., and a founding member of E3 Consultants Group, LLC. Born and raised in Parsons, Kansas, I bring a unique bond with our local community to the firm, as well as a desire to assist independent advisors across the country in their mission to deliver outstanding products and services to their clients.

I hold a Bachelors Degree in finance, general business, and insurance from Missouri State University where I graduated cum laude. I am currently licensed to serve clients in 32 states, and I earned a Certified Financial Planner® (CFP®) designation from the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards and a Certified Fund Specialist® (CFS®) designation from the Institute of Business and Finance. I also hold FINRA Series 6, Series 63, Series 65, Series 7 (General Securities Representative) and Series 24 licenses (with LPL Financial), and I am a licensed Life/Accident & Health Insurance representative.

I co-authored Living and Learning (with Robert Keebler) and Love, Money, and Control (with Robert A. Esperti and Renno L. Peterson), and am a frequent speaker at industry conferences across the U.S.

I reside in Parsons, KS with my wife, Ella; and enjoy spending time with our children Hunter, Chloe, Caitlin, and Madison. In addition to community involvement and family time, I enjoy playing most sports.
