Strategic Partners Inc. caters to independent financial advisors, offering securities and protection products to complement their clients’ financial plans, providing portfolio protection, tax advantaged solutions, and a solid financial foundation.
Strategic Partners, Inc. is divided into three primary divisions – Insurance Planning, Investment Planning and Advanced Planning. These three divisions are designed to support the successful financial advisor, who is focused on significantly growing his or her business. Through a unique approach to organizational growth, SPI allows advisors to utilize their support structure and to work with all divisions or just work with one division based on the advisor’s needs. SPI has been developing this support structure for 30 years and has leveraged this experience to create a unique and highly successful environment.
Strategic Partners Insurance Planning is focused on enabling a core group of financial advisors to serve their clients’ life and annuity needs in the most efficient manner possible. SPI allows financial advisors access to a select group of life and annuity carriers. SPI does not desire to work with all carriers, but only a select few that have a proven track record of delivering value to both clients and advisors.

Meeting the Need for Comprehensive Financial Planning
In 1994, our founder, Chris Lubbers, began his Financial Services career. He became a fully licensed advisor while still a junior in college. Initially, Chris worked with Franklin Life Insurance Company, which was later acquired by American General and ultimately AIG. Chris quickly established himself as a top advisor with a unique approach to comprehensive planning and went on to set numerous production awards at each company. During this time, Chris also discovered that the Financial Service Industry was extremely focused on “product sales” and there was a real need for advisors wanting to practice comprehensive financial planning. In answer to this, Chris began developing an organization dedicated to comprehensive financial planning for clients, and an organization that was also focused on helping like-minded advisors better serve their clients and grow their business. Ultimately, this organization became Strategic Partners, Inc.
